Church Unstoppable

TLC is planning to relocate to Northwest Arvada, specifically in the Candelas area. This area holds significant meaning for the church’s founders, as it was where they first felt called to plant a church ten years ago due to the scarcity of churches in the region.

The “Land of Revival” is a five-acre plot adjacent to a two-acre lot TLC was considering. The owners of this land are steadfast Christians who named it to reflect their faith. After hearing TLC’s story and vision, they felt God was telling them to sell the land to the church, making it a key part of TLC’s new home.

“Church Unstoppable” emphasizes that God’s plan is powerful and irresistible, accomplishing whatever He pleases. It’s an invitation to radical faith and an unleashed calling, trusting that God’s will cannot be resisted.

The Local Church will be changing its name to Valor Church. This new name, meaning “strength, courage, and character,” reflects the qualities God uses mightily and aligns with the church’s bold new chapter in Northwest Arvada.

The name “Valor Church” was planted in the pastor’s heart by God a year ago, affirmed by a mentor’s challenge. God’s call to Northwest Arvada further solidified this name as their God-inspired identity, embodying a courageous spirit.

Valor Church’s refined core values, which reflect their identity as a “Church on Fire,” are: Unapologetic Preaching (Proclaiming God’s Word with authority), Unashamed Worship (Exalting Jesus with heartfelt worship), Unceasing Prayer (Trusting boldly in prayer’s power), and Unafraid Witness (Sharing Jesus’ good news with truth and love).

Valor Church anticipates several challenges, including raising necessary funds, forging new plans, and operating as a mobile church for a season, which will involve setting up and tearing down for services. However, they believe that with “radical faith” and God’s guidance, they will overcome these obstacles.

Valor Church encourages “Radical Faith” through three actions: serving with valor, giving with sacrifice, and inviting with courage.
